Een hele reeks nieuwe provinciewaarnemingen en enkele andere bijzonderheden worden vermeld. De genera en soorten worden in alfabetische volgorde opgegeven. De nomenclatuur volgt de lijst in Fauna Europaea (www.faunaeur.org). Het voorkomen in België van Stigmella aceris (Nepticulidae) wordt bevestigd en Eratophyes amasiella (Oecophoridae) wordt hier voor het eerst uit België vermeld.

Coutsis J. G.: Melanargia larissa (Lepidoptera: Nymphalidae, Satyrinae) confirmed from the Greek Cycladic island of Ándros, located in the Aegean Sea, additional butterfly records from this island and a general overview of its butterfly composition.

The existence on Ándros Island, Greece, of Melanargia larissa is confirmed, butterflies new to the island are recorded, a general overview of the island's butterfly fauna is given and possible, future new records are listed.

The chromosome number and karyotype of Polyommatus (Agrodiaetus) nephohiptamenos is being presented, analyzed and compared to that of the chromosomally and externally proximate Polyommatus (Agrodiaetus) ripartii.

Troukens W.: Recente waarneming in België van Eublemma parva (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae).
Phegea 35(1): 35–36.
Op 31 juli 2006 werd een exemplaar van Eublemma parva (Hübner, 1808) aangetroffen in een lichtval te Dilbeek (provincie Brabant). Dit is het tweede exemplaar ooit uit België vermeld. Het eerste gegeven gaat terug tot 07 juni 1958 toen een exemplaar werd gevangen te Wavreille (Provincie Namen). De soort staat in de buurlanden bekend als een zeldzame immigrant.

Troukens W.: De boktorren uit de collectie Remi Guinez (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae).
Phegea 35(1): 37–39.
De verzameling van Remi Guinez (Vorst, Brussel) bevat 31 soorten boktorren. De volledige lijst met vindplaatsen en vangstdata wordt gegeven. Twee soorten worden hier voor het eerst uit België vermeld: Aegosoma scabricorne (Scopoli, 1763) en Parmena balteus (Linnaeus, 1767).

Peeters A.: Argyresthia glaucinella, nieuw voor de Belgische fauna (Lepidoptera: Yponomeutidae).
Phegea 35(2): 55–56.
Op 01 juli 2006 werd een exemplaar van Argyresthia glaucinella Zeller, 1839 verzameld in een 125 W MV lichtval in een tuin te Schoten (België, provincie Antwerpen). Het is de eerste waarneming van deze soort in België.

Coutsis J. G. & Borie J.-P.: Turanana dushak new to Iran, a re-description of its valva and of the valva of Turanana panaegides, and new sampling locality data for Turanana endymion endymion and Turanana endymion ahasveros (Lepidoptera: Lycaenidae).

Turanana dushak Dubatolov, 1989 is reported as new to Iran, its valvae as well as those of Turanana panaegides (Staudinger, 1886) are re-described, and new sampling localities are given for Turanana endymion endymion (Freyer, 1850) and for Turanana endymion ahasveros Bytinski-Salz & Brandt, 1937.

Baron T.: Araschnia levana (Lepidoptera: Nymphalidae), a new species for the Turkish fauna.
Phegea 35(2): 65–68.
Araschnia levana (Linnaeus, 1758) is known for expanding its range within Europe, to the north as well as to the south. It has spread within Bulgaria in the last 20 years and has reached places in southern Bulgaria, near the Turkish border in recent time. The species has now been recorded from Turkey also. It was found to occur in the Istiranca Mountains in Western Thrace, close to the Bulgarian border. It was discovered in one locality only; however, here it was abundant.

Slot J.: Polyommatus (Agrodiaetus) humedasae (Lepidoptera: Lycaenidae) niet beperkt tot het Cognedal in Noord-West-Italië.
Phegea 35(2): 69–71.
Polyommatus (Agrodiaetus) humedasae (Toso & Balletto, 1976) werd beschouwd als een endemische soort die enkel rond Pondel in de Cogne-vallei voorkwam, een zijvallei van de beroemde Aosta-vallei in Noord-West-Italië. Recente waarnemingen hebben aangetoond dat sommige populaties voorkomen in de droge gebieden ten noorden van de rivier Doa Baltea, in de omgeving van St.-Nicolas. Deze populaties worden echter zeer bedreigd door het geregeld maaien van de bloemenrijke wegranden en door intensieve veeteelt.

Sinds 1973 werden 26 soorten boktorren vastgesteld aan de westrand van Brussel. Een lijst van deze soorten wordt gegeven met waarnemingsgegevens en enkele kenmerken. De soorten worden ook afgebeeld door pentekeningen.

Dils J. & Özbek H.: A new species of the genus Exoprosopa (Diptera: Bombyliidae) from Turkey.
Phegea 35(3): 81–84.
From 30 specimens, all caught in the south-eastern Turkish provinces of Hakkari and Van, Exoprosopa ahtamara sp. nov. is described. The new species is compared with closely related species in the genus Exoprosopa, but also with some species from the genus Hemipenthes which have a very similar external morphology.

Seven, S.: Preliminary work on the moth fauna (Lepidoptera: Heterocera) of Kazdagi National Park - II (Turkey).

In this study, moth specimens collected from Kazdagi National Park are evaluated and 32 taxa belonging to 12 families are identified. All of the species have been recorded for the first time from Kazdagi National Park. Syndemis musculana (Hübner, [1799]), known from Turkey with uncertain locality record, has been recorded with an exact locality for the first time. The distribution in Turkey of Pancalia schwarzella (Fabricius, 1798) and Eudonia mercurella (Linnaeus, 1758) are discussed. Pyrausta ostrinalis (Hübner, 1796) is recorded for the first time for the Turkish Crambidae fauna.

Cuvelier S. & Dinca V.: New data regarding the butterflies (Lepidoptera: Rhopalocera) of Romania, with additional comments (general distribution in Romania, habitat preferences, threats and protection) for ten localized Romanian species.

During a field trip from mid July to early August 2006, the authors found new data regarding the distribution of different butterfly species (Rhopalocera: Papilionoidea and Hesperioidea) in Romania. All observations of this joint research trip are presented and focus is given on ten target species by additional comments on the distributional, ecological and legislative aspects in the country. Erebia sudetica radnaensis Rebel, 1915 is recorded for the first time in Fagaras Mountains and the male genitalia of this Romanian taxon is figured for the first time as a novelty. The habitus of male and female Boloria (Clossiana) titania transsylvanica Tiltscher, 1913 is also figured.

Bosmans B.: An Oak coppice in Genk and its weevil fauna (Coleoptera: Curculionidae, Cryptorhynchinae).

Oak coppice can be considered a vegetation type providing a long-term continuity in living conditions. By sieving, a soil sample was taken from one specific Oak coppice. This sample was analysed on the presence of Coleoptera relic species of the genus Acalles.

Seven rare moth species were caught in the Rostov-on-Don area during the field-season 2006: Heterolocha laminaria (Herrich-Schäffer, 1852), Ostrinia palustralis (Hübner, 1796), Caradrina vicina (Staudinger, 1870), Noctua janthe (Borkhausen, 1792), Eublemma parva (Hübner, [1808]), Conistra rubiginosa (Scopoli, 1763), and Luperina testacea ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775).

Snyers C.: Phyllocnistis citrella (Lepidoptera: Gracillariidae), een nieuwe, adventieve soort voor de lijst van Belgische Lepidoptera.

Na de vondst van een blad met mijngang van Phyllocnistis citrella (Stainton, 1856) te Berchem (België, prov. Antwerpen) op 6 februari 2007, blijkt de noodzaak voor het opstellen en bijhouden van een lijst van de Belgische adventieve Lepidoptera.

Sinds 1973 werden 21 soorten Scarabaeoidea waargenomen aan de westrand van Brussel. Een geïllustreerde opsomming van deze soorten wordt gegeven, met wat informatie over hun ontdekking en een weinig commentaar.
